2025 Nolan Red Wine

Nolan Vineyard Red Wine is a blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Petite Sirah from a newer vineyard just down the road from our winery in Los Alamos. The fruit comes from some of the highest and steepest blocks on the ranch, where the exposed hillside terrain produces wines with beautiful concentration, structure, and character.

 

Dark and generous in the glass, the 2025 balances ripe fruit with the savory qualities that make this vineyard so distinctive. Layers of blackberry, blueberry, and dark plum are complemented by violets, cracked pepper, leather, and earthy herbs. The Mourvèdre brings a savory, rustic edge, while Petite Sirah adds depth and structure to the Syrah's abundant fruit. The palate is seamless and richly textured, with polished tannins carrying the dark fruit and spice through a long, savory finish.

 

This vineyard continues to impress us with each vintage, producing a wine that delivers plenty of richness and fruit while maintaining the complexity and balance we look for in a great Santa Barbara County red.
