2025 Tensley Syrah

Tensley Estate is especially meaningful to us, planted with my son, Oliver, right in our backyard in Los Olivos. This two-acre vineyard is carefully tended and benefits from abundant sunshine and sandy soils, producing a Syrah that continues to gain depth and character with each vintage.

Medium to full-bodied, round, and supple, this vintage shows the richness and complexity we have come to love from the Estate. Ripe blackberries lead into savory layers of leather and smoky bacon fat, with our native pink peppercorns adding a distinctive spicy, floral lift. Richly textured yet beautifully balanced, the wine finishes long and savory, with plenty of structure to evolve in the cellar. This vineyard just keeps getting better every year, and this may be our best vintage yet.
