2025 SBC Syrah

The 2025 Santa Barbara County Syrah is, as always, a beautiful representation of the diverse vineyards we work with throughout the county. Sourced from five unique sites—some cool and fog-influenced, others warmer, dry, and windswept—the resulting wine brings together the distinctive microclimates and soils that make Santa Barbara County such an exciting place to grow Syrah.

 

Blackberry jam and ripe raspberries lead the way, layered with violets, earthy native underbrush, and rich notes of chocolate and caramelized molasses. A savory, smoky quality reminiscent of slow-cooked BBQ ribs adds another dimension, followed by our signature peppery spice on the finish. Medium to full-bodied with ripe tannins and beautiful balance, the 2025 delivers generous fruit and richness while maintaining the freshness and savory character we look for in this wine.

 

Year after year, this bottling is meant to capture the essence of Santa Barbara County Syrah, and the 2025 may just be one of our best yet.
